Yum (yum.purceas.com) is operated by IDEAL GENIUS ADVANCE SRL, registered in Romania (Tax ID 37213946, Trade Register J40/3407/2017), with its registered office at Șos. Olteniței nr. 113, bl. 27, sc. 3, et. 8, ap. 108, camera 1, Sector 4, 041304 București. You can reach us at yum@purceas.com.
By using Yum you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What Yum is
Yum is a free recipe library with an AI cooking assistant ("Ask Yum"). The recipes in the library are written and checked by our editors. Answers in the chat are generated automatically by an AI model, based on the library and on general cooking knowledge.
AI answers can be incomplete or wrong. Treat them as suggestions, use your own judgement, and follow food-safety basics: cook poultry to 74 °C and minced meat to 71 °C at the centre, keep raw and cooked food apart, and refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
Allergies, diets and health
Every recipe lists the main allergens it contains, but products differ by brand and kitchens can be cross-contaminated. If you have an allergy or intolerance, check every ingredient label yourself.
Calories and nutrition values are estimates calculated from ingredient weights. The calorie calculator and meal plans are general information for healthy adults and are not medical or dietary advice. Read the Health disclaimer before changing how you eat.
Using the chat fairly
Do not use Yum to send unlawful, abusive or harmful content, to try to extract the system's instructions, to overload the service, or to collect content automatically at scale. We may limit or block access that does this.
Do not type sensitive personal data (health records, identity numbers, payment data) into the chat. It is not needed to get a recipe.
Accounts and Yum Plus
You can create a free account with your email address; we sign you in with a one-time link and never ask for a password. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address.
Yum Plus is a paid subscription (currently 4.99 € per month or 39.99 € per year, VAT included where applicable) that adds unlimited AI chat, a personal profile used by the AI chef, the weekly meal planner, the automatic shopping list, unlimited saved recipes and the nutrition dashboard. Prices shown before you subscribe are the prices you pay.
New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial; we email you before it ends. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and renews automatically each month or year until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from your account (Manage subscription). Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep Plus until the end of the period already paid. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.; Yum never sees your full card details.
Right of withdrawal: as an EU consumer you have 14 days from the start of a paid subscription to withdraw. Because the service starts immediately at your request, if you withdraw within 14 days of your first payment we refund you in full on request to yum@purceas.com.
Content and intellectual property
The texts, recipe write-ups, photos, videos, design and code of Yum belong to IDEAL GENIUS ADVANCE SRL or its licensors. You may cook from the recipes, print or save them for personal use and share links to them. You may not republish them in bulk, sell them or present them as your own without written permission.
AI answers you receive in the chat are for your personal use.
Availability and changes
Yum is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it is always available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove recipes and features at any time, and update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version; continued use after a change means you accept it.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, IDEAL GENIUS ADVANCE SRL is not liable for indirect damage, or for damage caused by following an AI answer or a recipe without the care described above. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Romanian or EU law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Before going to court, please write to yum@purceas.com; we answer within 30 days. Disputes that cannot be settled amicably go to the competent courts in Bucharest, without affecting your right as a consumer to go to the courts of your place of residence.
